1JOB PURPOSE

Supervision and general maintenance including repairs and upkeep of facilities, equipment and machines so as to ensure the readiness of day to day operations.

1. Preventive maintenance of facility equipment
• Supervise and perform preventive maintenance within recommended interval.
• Supervise and perform preventive maintenance activities adhering to the checklist.
• Report any irregularities to superior.
• Ensure all maintenance documentation is duly filled and filed.
• Keep track of inventory of spare parts for common fault items. Arrange with maintenance admin for spare parts replenishment.

• Minimal downtime of Company’s machinery and equipment.
• Proper upkeep of the entire facility.
2. Ad-hoc or corrective maintenance of facility equipment
• Supervision of works order assigned to technician/s.
• Report to superior on status of all assigned works order.
• Report any irregularities to superior.
• Ensure all maintenance documentation is duly filled and filed.
• Keep track of inventory of spare parts for common fault items. Arrange with maintenance admin for spare parts replenishment.

• Minimal downtime of Company’s machinery and equipment.
• Proper upkeep of the entire facility.
3. Inspection of facility equipment
• Draft inspection checklist for facility maintenance.
• Ensuring that inspection checklists are duly filled.
• Highlight any abnormalities found in the system to superior
• Pro-active approach to identify fault prior to actual occurrences.
• Minimal downtime of Company’s machinery and equipment.
4. General maintenance and improvement – Buildings

• Perform routine checks to equipment that complement the fire and security system.
• Perform improvement works to building.
• Perform improvement works to building data, telephone and electrical infrastructures.
• Ensure a safe and conducive working environment for all staff working in the Company.
5. Others

• Highlight to Superior on safety concerns when performing maintenance works.
• Discuss with Superior on improvement work program.
• Make recommendation for preventive and inspection routines.
• Highlights any facility shortfall for maintenance work.
• Ensure a safe and more conducive working environment when performing maintenance.

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS

• Minimum NTC 2/3 in Mechanical Engineering or in any related disciple.
RELEVANT EXPERIENCE

• At least 3 – 4 years of experience as a Technician.
• Relevant experience in ASRS.
